Job Description
Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Tool Maker to join our dynamic team. Wardwell is a manufacturing facility in Central Falls that is a leading international supplier of braiding machines and parts in the wire and cable industry.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Construct, alter or repair a variety of tools, dies, Jigs, fixtures, and gauges to close tolerances. Perform ordinary development work and fairly difficult tool room machine operations. Fit and assemble parts. Assist higher class Tool and Die Makers on large and complicated dies, jigs, fixtures and gauges and on multi-operation dies. Use lathes, millers, drill presses, arbor presses, pedestal grinders, belt sanders and heat treat units. Use measuring and gauging devices such as, calipers, master micrometers, micrometers, gauge blocks,
•dial indicators, height and depth gauges, feeler gauges and a wide variety of other measuring and gauging instruments. Use a variety of small hand tools including, files, allen wrenches, screw drivers and others. Work from blueprints, sketches and verbal instructions. Perform a variety of other duties as directed by supervision. Maintain machines and work place in a neat, clean and orderly condition. Maintain work area in a neat, clean and orderly condition. Comply with all company rules and regulations. Comply with all of Stolberger's rules and safety regulation. Must be able to lift to 60lbs. Accepts new challenges and opportunities for growth.
Pay:
$31.55 - $35.88 per hour
