Our client, a leading orthotics and prosthetics provider dedicated to delivering custom-built mobility solutions, is seeking an Orthotics & Prosthetics Technician (O&P Technician) to join their Fort Mill, SC team. About the Role As an O&P Technician, you'll play an essential role in supporting clinicians and the care team by fabricating, modifying, and maintaining high-quality orthotic and prosthetic devices according to individualized specifications. You'll work directly in the fabrication environment and contribute to a mission focused on enhancing patient outcomes and mobility. Key Responsibilities Fabricate custom orthotic and prosthetic devices based on clinician specifications, using a variety of materials and fabrication techniques. Assist clinicians with adjustments, fitting preparation, and fine-tuning of devices to ensure comfort, function, and fit. Perform routine maintenance and structural repairs on orthotic and prosthetic devices as needed. Operate and maintain fabrication tools, machinery, and workspaces while adhering to safety and quality standards. Maintain organized documentation of work orders, production schedules, materials, and inventory. Ensure lab cleanliness and compliance with regulatory guidelines and best practices. Qualifications Experience in orthotics/prosthetics fabrication, technical trades, or related mechanical work preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to precision and craftsmanship. Ability to work collaboratively within a patient-focused clinical team. Comfortable operating fabrication tools and equipment in a dynamic environment. High School Diploma or equivalent required; relevant technical training or certification is a plus.
