Tool Maker Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a prominent client in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a skilled Tool Maker with experience within manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong abilities in troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing tooling and dies.

Tool Maker Job Summary:

$35.46 /hourly 1st & 2nd Shift, 8 hours Full Time/Direct Hire Paid vacation, paid holidays, Full Medical, Dental, Vision Set-up and perform machine and bench operations necessary to make, alter, or repair tools, jigs, fixtures, dies, molds, or gauges of complex design.

Tool Maker Job Qualifications:

High school Diploma or General Education (GED) with 2 years vocational school training in machine tool technology a plus 5-7 years' tool room experience preferably in a manufacturing facility. Journeymen Tool & Die preferred Applied knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics metal properties, layout and machining procedures. Blueprint reading and specification of sketches.
