Adecco is recruiting experienced Tool & Die Makers for a manufacturing opportunity in Union, SC. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing, building, and maintaining tooling, dies, jigs, and fixtures in a production environment. What You'll Be Doing Perform scheduled and unscheduled tool and die maintenance and repairs Troubleshoot tooling issues and make necessary repairs or adjustments to keep production running Build, repair, modify, and maintain tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and related components Fabricate new and replacement tooling components as needed Read and work from detailed prints, drawings, and specifications Inspect tooling and components for dimensional accuracy and proper operation Identify opportunities to improve tooling performance, reliability, and longevity Support engineering changes, equipment modifications, and new program launches Assist with die setup and other Tool Room responsibilities as needed Work closely with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to resolve tooling issues What We're Looking For USDOL Tool & Die Journeyman's Card or equivalent experience Candidates without a Journeyman's Card should have approximately 8 years of related Tool & Die experience At least 2 years of hands-on troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing or production environment Experience working with a variety of production dies, tooling, jigs, and fixtures Strong ability to troubleshoot, repair, fit, modify, and maintain tooling Ability to read detailed prints and identify or order replacement tooling components Experience implementing engineering changes is a plus Must have a basic set of precision measuring and hand tools Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to work effectively as part of a team Schedule & Work Environment Must be open to working different shifts based on production needs Overtime may be required, including occasional Sunday work Must be comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, and work with tools and equipment throughout the shift Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds If you're an experienced Tool & Die professional who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, precision work, and solving tooling problems, this is an opportunity to put that experience to work in a busy manufacturing environment.
Pay Details:
