Job Description

We are looking for a talented Tool Maker to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Morristown, TN .
Job Summary:
Analyzes and manufactures complex components using machine tool equipment. Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. May work independently and instruct or coach others. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

                                      Select appropriate work-piece-holding devices to ensure parts and products are securely held during manufacturing processes.

                                        Education, Licenses, Certifications:
                                        • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
                                        • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
                                        Experience:
                                        • Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
                                        • Must have advanced knowledge in tool and die practices and have knowledge of forging and metal machining equipment.
                                        • Additional knowledge in the safe operation of Saws, Milling machines, Drilling/Tapping, Grinding Broaching, CNC lathes, Welding, Die Polishing, Die Assembly and also Fixturing and Rigging.
                                        • Other skills may be required as new machines and practices are introduced.
