We are looking for a highly skilled Tool/Mold Repair Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex plastic injection molds. This is a senior-level role for a true craftsman. What You'll Do:

Tool Maintenance & Repair:

Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot tooling issues, and execution of minor engineering changes to optimize mold performance.

Machining & Fabrication:

Utilize CNC, EDM, mills, and other standard machining equipment to repair or modify mold components.

Heavy Lifting Logistics:

Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move, flip, and set large injection molds.

Collaboration & Analytics:

Partner with Process and Plant Engineers to implement process improvements and participate in formal root-cause analysis (8Ds).

Documentation & Inventory:

Maintain meticulous records of all tool repairs/changes and ensure proper inventory levels of critical replacement components.

Safety & Housekeeping:

Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and maintain an immaculate, organized work area.

This is an advanced role requiring mastery of the trade. Candidates must possess their own toolbox and an assortment of professional mold-making/repair tools.

The Expertise:

The Technical Toolkit:
