This position is ideal for an experienced Tool & Die professional who can work from blueprints and engineering specifications, develop tooling for short-run production, maintain and repair stamping dies, and troubleshoot tooling issues directly with the pressroom. Key Responsibilities Review blueprints, specifications, and engineering data to determine manufacturability Calculate flat-pattern layouts for metal stampings Design short-run, single-stage stamping tooling Maintain and repair stamping dies as needed Troubleshoot tooling and die-related issues with pressroom personnel Assist with resolving production and tooling problems to maintain efficient operations Required Experience Minimum 3 years of Tool & Die Maker experience Experience specifically within the short-run metal stamping industry Strong understanding of bend allowance and bend deduction Knowledge of short-run stamping tooling methods Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings Hands-on experience maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting stamping dies Preferred Qualifications The following experience is a plus: CNC machining Mastercam SolidWorks Compensation $27.00-$34.00 per hour Final pay will be based on the candidate's Tool & Die experience, metal stamping background, and technical skill level. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is more than a machine operator or general machinist. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building, repairing, modifying, and troubleshooting metal stamping dies and understands the technical calculations required to produce short-run stamped parts. Qualified Tool & Die Makers with relevant metal stamping experience are encouraged to apply.
