ooking for a hands-on CNC Tooling & Setup Technician to support our CNC machining operations. This position will be responsible for preparing tooling for upcoming jobs, keeping tools organized and ready for machinists, and maintaining an efficient tool room. Key Responsibilities Review upcoming CNC jobs and prepare required tooling in advance. Assemble and preset tool holders, inserts, drills, end mills, boring bars and other cutting tools. Make sure machinists have the correct tooling ready before setup begins. Organize and maintain the CNC tool room, cabinets and tooling locations. Maintain proper inventory of inserts, cutters, holders and other tooling. Identify low-stock or missing tooling and communicate purchasing requirements before jobs are released. Return, inspect and properly store tooling after jobs are completed. Separate usable, damaged and worn tooling. Work closely with CNC programmers, supervisors and machinists to determine tooling requirements. Help standardize commonly used tooling and reduce unnecessary tooling purchases. Maintain a clean, organized and efficient tooling area. Qualifications Basic knowledge of CNC machining and cutting tools. Familiarity with CNC tool holders, inserts, drills, end mills and related tooling. Ability to read basic engineering drawings and job travelers. Ability to identify and organize tooling by size, type and application. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable working directly with machinists and production supervisors. Previous CNC machine shop or tool-room experience preferred. What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive and hands-on . Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
