FRP Lay-Up Specialist, Industrial Ventilation Location:
Temple, TX Pay:
$17.00-$22.00 per hourSchedule:
Monday-Friday, 10-hour shiftsOvertime:

Weekly pay, full benefits, long-term stability A Day in Your Role Step onto the production floor at Viron International and join a seasoned team crafting industrial fiberglass products used in ventilation systems across demanding environments. You will blend craftsmanship with precision—measuring, cutting, and laminating fiberglass to bring engineered designs to life. Throughout your 10-hour shift, you will move between workstations, read basic blueprints and instructions, and use hand and power tools to complete lay-ups and installs with accuracy and care. What You Will Work On Measure materials and components precisely Cut, prep, and stage fiberglass cloth and cores Mix and apply resins, catalysts, and fiberglass systems Perform lay-up, sanding, and grinding to spec Install FRP components into vessels, ductwork, and fans Operate grinders, saws, and drills confidently Follow work instructions and basic blueprints Use shop equipment and overhead hoists safely Who Thrives Here Reliable contributors with strong attendance Hands-on problem solvers comfortable with measuring tools Mechanically inclined teammates with basic math skills Individuals able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and climb stairs Available Monday-Friday for 10-hour shifts Experience in manufacturing, construction, fabrication, fiberglass, sanding, grinding, or other hands-on trades is helpful. Forklift experience is preferred. The Work Environment This is physical, hands-on manufacturing. The shop can be hot, dusty, and dirty at times. You will work with fiberglass, resins, and related materials, repeat sanding and grinding tasks, and move throughout the floor. Required PPE is provided and must be worn.
