Job Description
Job Description An Insight Global customer is looking to hire a Facilities UPW Technician for a new state of the art semiconductor facility in north Phoenix. This person will be responsible for operating, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting the site's UPW production and distribution systems. This role ensures continuous supply of high-purity water required for manufacturing and facility processes. The technician supports system startup, shutdown, maintenance, and optimization while ensuring all UPW equipment operates safely, efficiently, and within strict quality specifications. This is a full-time opportunity with our customer, and you can plan to expect a compensation range of $30

- 3+ years of experience with UPW , water treatment, or industrial water systems (RO, UF, EDI , filtration).
- Knowledge of water treatment processes, water chemistry, and high-purity water system requirements.
- Ability to read and understand P&IDs, system flow diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Experience using test instruments and monitoring equipment related to water quality.
- Ability to work in mechanical spaces, tanks, utility areas, and water treatment rooms.
- Experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, biotech, or high-purity industrial water systems.
- Certification in water treatment operations or related technical training.
- Familiarity with
BMS / SCADA
systems used for UPW monitoring and control.- Experience with membrane systems (UF/RO/ EDI ) and distribution loop design.
