Job Description

OBJECTIVE
Performs labs, maintenance service and repairs in the areas of Waste Water Reclamation. Manages Water Reclamation Facility staff. Interacts with vendors and outside contractors, to meet the goals of the department.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
Many of the job responsibilities will be conducted in exterior and interior areas of the operation. Exterior activities will be carried out in year-round weather conditions. Interior work will be conducted on stage and back of the house environments, including smoking areas. Work hours will fluctuate depending on projects, daily tasks and emergency situations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Always be NICE to fellow staff and players; find every opportunity to offer a friendly smile, wave and greeting Collect samples from influent flow, effluent flow and operation basins to assess system performance. Maintain accurate data records on operational parameters, daily activities, maintenance and collected samples for compliance reporting and operational analysis. Troubleshoot and repair all equipment in the wastewater treatment plant with assistance from facilities departments. Ensure all paperwork is filled out and completed in a clear, legible, and accurate format, and completed with required information. Monitors control panel and makes adjustments as needed. Respond to all emergency calls after-hours. Perform maintenance on all equipment Understands and complies with federal, state and local regulations Able to drive manual transmission Understands and complies with Facilities Department and Casino policies and procedures Hires, trains, supervises and evaluates department personnel. Approves or purchases supplies and equipment for department use. Prepares and recommends to Facilities Director department operating budget. Manages department within approved budget. Keeps abreast of current professional and technological developments in the field of expertise. Responsible for department compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Maintains liaison with vendors and service representatives to enforce equipment warranties and repair. Monitors and assures staff comply with Facilities Department and Casino policies and procedures. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to communicate professionally in writing and verbally. Strong organizational, leadership and supervisory skills. Ability to diagnose and resolve problems. Proficient in speaking, reading and writing English. Effective computer skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Proficient in his/her discipline.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Requires high school diploma or GED A valid Grade 2 or higher Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Certificate issued by the State of California Water Resources Control Board.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
At least 5 years of experience in the maintenance field preferred
