Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Spa Technician, where your expertise will elevate the guest experience by ensuring the pristine condition and safe operation of aquatic facilities. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining pool and spa systems, troubleshooting equipment, handling water treatment chemicals, and delivering exceptional customer service. Your mechanical knowledge and outdoor work experience will be vital in keeping our aquatic environments safe, clean, and inviting for all visitors. Duties Perform routine inspections and maintenance of pool plumbing systems, pumps, filters, heaters, and other equipment to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment issues using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to minimize downtime. Balance pool chemistry by accurately handling water treatment chemicals to maintain safe and clean water conditions. Conduct regular pool cleaning tasks including skimming, vacuuming, brushing surfaces, and ensuring proper water circulation. Monitor aquatic facility systems such as chemical agents, filtration units, and water treatment processes to uphold health standards. Operate company vehicles for transporting equipment or chemicals safely across outdoor work sites. Document maintenance activities, chemical levels, repairs performed, and safety checks diligently for compliance and quality assurance. Qualifications Proven experience with pool maintenance, aquatic facilities, or service technician roles involving water treatment chemical handling. Strong mechanical knowledge related to pool plumbing systems, equipment troubleshooting, and repair procedures. Familiarity with pool chemistry balancing and water treatment chemical handling protocols. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and outdoor equipment safely and effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards guests and team members. Prior outdoor work experience preferred; comfort working in various weather conditions is essential. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles is a plus; certification in water treatment or pool chemistry is advantageous.
