salary:
$75,000 - $86,000 per year shift: Third work hours: 6 PM - 3 AM education:
High School Responsibilities Team Leadership:
Manage, schedule, and train technicians on the 7 Steps of Sanitation and chemical safety (LOTO/PPE).
Bakery Sanitation:
Supervise the deep cleaning and teardown of industrial mixers, proofers, ovens, and packaging lines. Manage dry-cleaning methods for flour dust and wet-cleaning (CIP/COP).
Food Safety Compliance:
Verify allergen washouts and line changeovers. Conduct ATP swabbing and pre-op inspections. Maintain documentation for FDA, CDPH, and SQF audits.
Chemicals & Safety:
Monitor chemical titration and inventory (caustics, sanitizers).
Qualifications:
3+ years of food manufacturing sanitation experience with 2+ years in a supervisory/lead role (commercial bakery experience preferred). Deep knowledge of GMPs, SSOPs, HACCP, FDA, and OSHA regulations. Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb, work in high/low temperatures, and tolerate airborne flour dust. strong communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Must reliably work overnights and a non-traditional workweek.
