Job Description

Join the Aqua-Chem Team as a Water Treatment Service Technician! Aqua-Chem, Inc. is a family-owned and operated water treatment company proudly serving Colorado for over 40 years. We specialize in delivering high-quality, customized water treatment solutions for commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities. Our team is committed to providing exceptional service with the personal touch you only get from a small business that values its employees and clients like family. We're growing—and looking for a motivated, hands-on Water Treatment Service Technician to join our team! As a Water Treatment Service Technician at Aqua-Chem, Inc., you'll play a key role in helping our customers maintain safe, efficient, and compliant water systems. You'll be responsible for: Servicing and maintaining water treatment programs for boilers, cooling towers, closed loops, and other HVAC water systems Performing on-site testing, analysis, and adjustments to ensure system performance Troubleshooting mechanical issues and making minor repairs or recommendations as needed Maintaining accurate service records, logs, and customer reports Building strong relationships with clients through reliable, knowledgeable service Supporting installation of new water treatment equipment and systems Managing inventory and coordinating with the team for chemical deliveries and parts
Qualifications:
Previous experience in water treatment, HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical systems (preferred but not required—we'll train the right person) Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently, manage your schedule, and provide top-tier customer service Mechanical aptitude and willingness to work in the field (on-site visits required) Clean driving record and valid driver's license Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical work in mechanical rooms and outdoor environments High school diploma or equivalent (technical school or relevant certifications a plus) Why Work With Us?
