Job Description
Pueblo Water has an opening for a Certified Water Treating Operator who is responsible for the operation of the water treatment and pumping facilities as a scheduled or relief worker. The Water Treatment Operator will ensure that treated water meets or exceeds state and federal Safe Drinking Water Standards. Placement in the Water Operator position is based upon qualifications depending upon certifications and years of experience. Candidates may be considered in a "trainee" position if they hold a "D" certification or higher.
Full Salary Ranges:
Certified "A" Treating Operator $70,525.00- $95,213.00 annually Certified "B" Treating Operator $56,906.00
- $76,824.00 annually Certified "C" Treating Operator $51,612.00
- $69,675.00 annually Certified "D" Treating Operator $44,676.00
- $60,315.00 annually
- All New Hires will be placed at entry level salary range A comprehensive benefit package to include medical, dental, life and disability insurance, deferred compensation, pension, paid leave time for holidays, sick time and vacation.
