Job Description

Town of Silt is looking for a team player to fill the full-time position at our Water/wastewater department. This position is a level II that Performs a variety of complex water process control and quality analysis within a laboratory and plant environment to ensure compliance with regulatory and departmental standards. Work involves responsibility for the care and efficient operation of the treatment plant, collection systems and distribution systems associated with the water and wastewater systems. Starting salary $55,120.00 to $66,560.00, plus full benefit package. EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 2 - 4
years of experience in operations and maintenance of water and wastewater utility systems is required. Class C or higher in water and wastewater treatment certifications is desirable. Extensive knowledge of procedures and practices of water and wastewater production, collection treatment, distribution, maintenance, operations and repair is required. Employee must possess a thorough knowledge of Department of Health and Environments regulations pertaining to operation of water and wastewater utilities.
