RECRUITMENT BULLETIN WASTEWATER PLANT OPERATOR PUBLIC UTILITIES DEPARTMENT
_______________________________________________________________________________MAJOR FUNCTIONS
This is responsible technical work involving the daily operation and maintenance of the City of Auburndale Wastewater Treatment Facilities. Work is performed under the supervision of the Utility Plant Superintendent.ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Performs routine lab analysis (e.g., sampling and analyzing) and implements process control changes to ensure compliance with federal and state requirements; sludge disposal; wastewater line maintenance and repair; minor equipment repair and maintenance; and facility maintenance and landscaping. Performs other non-essential duties as required. The wastewater treatment facility operates 24/7 including holidays; this position requires the applicant to be able to work all shifts/schedules as assigned including 24 hours on call availability.Benefits
