Sanitation Supervisor The sanitation supervisor will direct and manage all aspects of cleaning and sanitation of Custom Pak Florida. This includes managing/training a sanitation team, developing/modifying SSOP for new and existing equipment, assisting food safety manager during third party/ customer audits and partnering with maintenance to improve clean ability of equipment. The ideal candidate must be dynamic, autonomous and structured. The person must be able to manage priorities and to show calm, rigor and control in particular and unforeseen situations. This candidate must demonstrate strong planning and organizational skills. He/she will have the ability to collaborate with multiple stake holders and thrive in a fast pace production environment. Some Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, organize, plan and coordinate activities related to the cleanliness and clean-up of equipment and facilities; managing a crew of approximately 6-8 workers. Ensure equipment and facility is cleaned and sanitized at an appropriate frequency and cleaning procedures. Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors in food safety.
Perform inspections and tests:
such as pre-operational, ATP and microbiological. Actively participate in internal and external audits. Ensure implementation and follow-up of corrective actions when required. Conduct new team member training, lead team on daily duties and ensure task assignment completion. Ensure that every member on team understands and owns responsibility and are properly trained and equipped to perform job.
Experience and Skills Required:
2-3 years of sanitation experience and 1 year supervision experience in commercial food sanitation Understanding of HACCP Good verbal and written communications skills, hardworking, dependable, safety conscious and bilingual, English/Spanish or French/Creole preferred late night position starting after production ends; possible hours: 9pm to 6am, 6 days per week; Monday -
