Job Description

The Wastewater Operator inTraining gains hands-on experience in plant operations through on-the-job training under a certified operator, working rotating shifts to learn all aspects of the role.
Pay:
$22.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in on-the-job training involving hands-on plant operations experienceRead and comprehend technical laboratory, operations, and maintenance proceduresStart and stop machinery and pumps via SCADA system; regulate valves and observe instrumentationAdd chemicals according to prescribed standardsCollect and analyze samples periodically; report results and maintain recordsPerform cleanup work and assigned housekeeping dutiesAssist certified operator with all duties required in water treatment plant operationsWork varying shifts to learn all areas of plant operations
