Schedule:

M-F 7am-3:30pm Temp- position will end April 30, 2027

Qualifications:

: High School diploma or GED. Valid Driver's License with no major infractions Must have ability to learn basic working knowledge of equipment & operations.

Responsibilities:

Participates in an on-the-job training program involving practical, "hands- on" experience with plant operations under the supervision of a Wastewater Production plant supervisor and/or a Certified Operator; reads and comprehends a variety of technical laboratories, operations, and maintenance procedures. Starts and stops machinery and pumps via supervisory control and data acquisition system, regulates valves and observes instrumentation; adds chemicals according to prescribed standards. Collects and analyzes various samples periodically and reports results; maintains simple records. Performs cleanup work on equipment and daily/weekly assigned housekeeping duties. From $22.50 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week Application Question(s): Do you currently hold a State of Florida Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Class C license or higher? Do you have at least 1 year of experience working in a wastewater treatment plant? Do you have a valid Driver's License with no major infractions? Are you able to work in a temporary position (7 months)?
