Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumbing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in plumbing, maintenance, and equipment repair. This role involves working with various systems, including programmable logic controllers and distributed control systems, to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of plumbing and water treatment facilities. The Plumbing Technician will be responsible for conducting inspections, performing repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems and equipment. Operate heavy equipment as needed for construction and repair tasks. Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or areas for improvement. Troubleshoot and repair water treatment and wastewater treatment systems. Collect data on system performance for analysis and reporting purposes. Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and data entry. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing heavy lifting tasks. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Requirements Proven experience in plumbing, maintenance, or related fields. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate programmable logic controllers and distributed control systems. Familiarity with water treatment processes and wastewater treatment operations. Experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred. Basic math skills for calculations related to plumbing tasks. Excellent analysis skills to assess system performance and identify areas for improvement. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by job duties. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
