Preferred Qualifications:
Experience/knowledge of circuit boards and circuit board manufacturing Waste Treat experience

Job Description:
The Wastewater Treatment Operator performs monitoring and testing of water and wastewater by performing tasks and assignments related to the treatment and processing of printed circuit board manufacturing waste materials; operates wastewater pretreatment equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate continuous and batch wastewater treatment systems by using metal precipitation and water clarification techniques; Operate and regenerate Ion exchange, water softeners, and Reverse Osmosis water recycling systems Operate and maintain solution separator equipment's like Filter Presses Maintain documentation and records, reports and information logs for all process equipment's, analysis. Monitor wastewater effluent by sampling and analysis and ensure that the required conditions by OCSD are met Inspect facilities and equipment to ensure compliance with established standards Troubleshoot WWT equipment's, and make corrective actions as necessary Operate all environmental and wastewater equipment without supervision Implement Hazardous Waste handling guidelines according to RCRA; State; Federal & Local regulations Prepare and label waste material drums and containers with proper nomenclature Loading/Unloading of bulk and chemical containers, reclaim, and waste products Control scrap metals and monitor their recycling Transferring of chemicals and materials from storage locations to points of use Maintain workplace; Perform daily Safety and Environmental inspections Support Manufacturing/Operations on job related activities that can include cross training in other departments. Interpret performance and operations issues Lift up to 45 Lbs. as needed due to the nature of the job.
