Job Description
Job Summary A growing food manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Sanitation Manager to lead sanitation operations in a USDA/FDA-regulated facility. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and OSHA standards while managing a high-performing sanitation team. Duties Lead daily sanitation operations and team performance. Maintain SSOPs, Master Sanitation Schedule, and sanitation records. Ensure compliance with USDA/FDA, HACCP, GMP, and OSHA requirements. Prepare for customer and regulatory audits. Train employees on sanitation procedures and food safety. Manage sanitation supplies, schedules, budgets, and KPIs. Drive continuous improvement and enforce company policies. Requirements 2+ years of sanitation supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment. Experience in USDA/FDA-regulated facilities required. Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, and OSHA. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Flexible schedule and hands-on leadership style.
