We are searching for a licensed Class 1 or Class 2 Wastewater Operator to join our amazing family! Most of our employees have been calling us family for over 10+ years! Our headquarters is in Eatonton, Georgia, and we have pump stations and wastewater treatment sites in the area.

Daily activities would include:

Operate wastewater plants, monitoring all equipment and chemicals to ensure effluent water meets applicable standards Work involves sampling, lab testing and operation of wastewater treatment equipment to ensure compliance with State of Georgia EPD permit requirements Monitor treatment process for compliance, inspect equipment, monitor conditions, meters, and gauges to determine requirements Work in multiple plants as needed Helpful if have maintenance and/or electrical experience.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidate will be familiar with process control and pertinent lab procedures Valid Class 2 or higher Wastewater Operator License High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license Maintenance experience preferred Strong detail-oriented work style Piedmont Water Company, established in 1992, is a private but rapidly growing leader in our industry in the Southeast.
