Job Description
Build More Than Trenches Black Ark Builders is hiring an experienced excavator operator for underground utility and wastewater infrastructure projects in the Meridian / Boise area. We're looking for someone who doesn't just know how to run a machine - we're looking for someone who thinks ahead, works safely, communicates with the crew, and takes ownership of their work. Our projects include wastewater treatment facilities, underground utilities, deep excavation, structural excavation, dewatering systems, and shored excavations. What You'll Be Doing Excavation for water, sewer, and storm utility installation Precision trenching and grade work Loading trucks and material handling Working around existing utilities and active crews Supporting pipe installation with accurate excavation Operating safely around trench boxes and shoring systems What We're Looking For Heavy civil excavation experience Ability to read site conditions and work efficiently Strong communication and teamwork Takes pride in quality work Accountable, dependable, and solutions-oriented Safety-first mindset Preferred Experience Wastewater treatment plants Lift stations Deep excavation Slide rail or hydraulic shoring Dewatering systems Utility installation Position Details Competitive pay based on experience Long-term infrastructure projects We're building a high-performing team, not simply filling seats.
