Job Description
Moore Water & Air is looking for a motivated Water Treatment Service Technician to join our service team. This is a field-based position working directly with homeowners to diagnose, repair, maintain, and improve residential water treatment systems. Our Service Technicians typically run approximately six service calls per day. This is not simply an hourly technician position. In addition to hourly compensation, technicians have the opportunity to earn additional compensation based on the revenue produced from their service truck. We are looking for someone who can combine technical ability, customer service, and productivity. What You'll Do Run approximately six residential service calls per day Diagnose and repair water softeners and other water treatment equipment Service reverse osmosis drinking water systems Perform routine maintenance and preventative service Test water and evaluate equipment performance Identify equipment or plumbing issues Explain findings and recommendations to customers Provide customers with repair and replacement options when appropriate Complete service documentation using company software Maintain parts and inventory on your service vehicle Keep your truck clean, organized, and properly stocked Deliver a professional customer experience on every call Our compensation structure is designed to reward technicians who take care of customers, run productive service routes, identify legitimate customer needs, and produce strong results. What We're Looking For Service technician, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, water treatment, or similar field experience preferred Strong mechanical and troubleshooting ability Comfortable communicating directly with homeowners Ability to explain technical issues in simple terms Comfortable presenting repair or equipment options to customers Self-motivated and able to manage a daily route Strong organizational skills Professional appearance and attitude Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Dependable attendance Ability to lift and move water treatment equipment and service materials Water treatment experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate with a strong technical background.
