Responsible for monitoring and maintaining our wastewater treatment system operations, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and company standards. Monitor wastewater treatment system operations. Read PLC screens, charts, and gauges; note operational problems. Inspect pumps, ventilators, and air supplies. Gather samples at appropriate sampling points following proper procedures and record information. Pump in raw materials to adjust the pH of wastewater tanks. Collaborate with the lab on disposals and adjustments. Perform a variety of preventive maintenance tasks; clean and monitor the operations of automatic samplers. Maintain logs, records, and reports related to the work. Pump in dye or oil wash out as needed. Experience in wastewater treatment or a related field is preferred. Ability to read and interpret PLC screens, charts, and gauges. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Forklift operation certification is a plus.
