Flexible / Project-Based Alderstone Water Company is a Louisville-based water treatment company providing whole-home water filtration, water softening, reverse osmosis, and related residential water-treatment solutions. We're building our local installation network and looking for an experienced, dependable plumbing professional/ journeyman who takes pride in clean workmanship and providing an excellent customer experience. The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Water Treatment Installer / Plumbing Technician to perform residential installations throughout Louisville and surrounding communities. This is initially project-based work with flexible scheduling and no guaranteed number of weekly hours . Our goal is to establish a long-term relationship with a dependable installation professional as Alderstone's customer and installation volume grows. Water-treatment installation experience is strongly preferred. However, experienced residential plumbing professionals with the technical ability are encouraged to apply. What You'll Install Whole-home water filtration systems Water softeners and conditioning systems Reverse osmosis drinking-water systems Sediment and carbon filtration systems Bypass valves and related plumbing connections RO faucets, tubing and drain connections Related residential water-treatment equipment Responsibilities Install water-treatment equipment according to manufacturer specifications and Alderstone installation standards Professionally connect systems to existing residential plumbing Evaluate installation locations and identify potential plumbing or installation issues Install bypass valves, drains, RO faucets and associated components as required Start up and test completed systems for proper operation Inspect all connections for leaks Maintain a clean work area and protect the customer's home during installation Explain basic system operation and maintenance to homeowners Document completed installations with required photographs and job information Communicate promptly regarding scheduling, job-site conditions and additional materials needed Represent Alderstone professionally while working in customers' homes Qualifications Preferred candidates will have: Residential plumbing experience Water softener, filtration or reverse-osmosis installation experience Strong understanding of residential plumbing systems Ability to troubleshoot installation challenges independently Professional-quality workmanship Dependable transportation Appropriate tools for residential plumbing and installation work Strong communication and customer-service skills Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work in basements, garages, utility rooms, crawl spaces and other residential environments Licensing & Insurance Candidates must possess any licenses, registrations or credentials required for the work they perform under Kentucky and applicable local requirements. Selected installation professionals may be required to provide proof of appropriate liability insurance and other documentation before receiving installation assignments. Compensation Compensation is project-based and will vary according to installation scope, complexity and experience. Typical compensation is expected to fall within the equivalent of $250-$500 per installation , depending on the work performed. Bonuses included for dependability Installation assignments will initially be scheduled based on customer demand.
