Summary:
Vecta Industrial Cleaning Company is seeking an experienced and versatile Industrial Cleaning Supervisor to lead our cleaning operations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various industrial cleaning techniques, including hydroblasting, automation, and other specialized cleaning methods. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing cleaning crews, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervision and Team Leadership:
Lead and manage cleaning crews, providing guidance, direction, and support. Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on project requirements and individual strengths. Foster a positive and safety-conscious work environment, promoting teamwork and accountability.
Industrial Cleaning Operations:
Oversee and participate in industrial cleaning activities, including hydroblasting, tank cleaning, and automation cleaning. Ensure that cleaning operations are performed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company standards and client specifications. Provide technical expertise and training to team members on specialized cleaning techniques and equipment.
Safety Compliance:
Enforce and uphold strict adherence to safety protocols and guidelines during all cleaning operations. Conduct pre-job safety inspections and hazard assessments. Address and resolve safety concerns promptly, escalating as necessary.
Quality Assurance:
Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. Conduct regular inspections of cleaned areas to verify compliance with cleaning plans and specifications. Document and report any deviations from the cleaning plan or unexpected conditions
Equipment Management:
Manage and maintain cleaning equipment, including hydroblasting units, automated cleaning systems, pressure washers, and vacuum trucks. Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule routine maintenance and repairs. Ensure that equipment is properly stored, maintained, and operated.
Client Communication:
Serve as the point of contact for clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or inquiries. Collaborate with clients to understand their specific cleaning requirements and expectations. Identify opportunities for additional services and upselling to existing clients.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in industrial cleaning, hydroblasting, or related fields is preferred. Proven experience in industrial cleaning operations, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or lead role. Expertise in various industrial cleaning techniques, including hydroblasting, automation cleaning, and tank cleaning. In-depth knowledge of safety protocols, environmental regulations, and best practices in industrial cleaning. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor team members. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and environments. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as project demands require.
