The Bourne Water District is accepting applications for the position of Skilled Waterworks Crewperson . Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. We are seeking a motivated individual with the ability to perform all aspects involved in the water distribution system, meter maintenance and replacement program, and maintenance of pumping treatment facilities.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A driver's license
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment physical examination, drug screening, and CORI check Candidates with the following desired qualifications will be given priority consideration:
• Grade D-1 Massachusetts Water Distribution Operators License (Operator in Training) or the ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Grade T-1 Massachusetts Treatment License (Operator in Training) or the ability to obtain within 18 months.
• Valid D.O.T. Medical Examiners Physical Card or the ability to obtain within 18 months.
• Hoisting Engineer License 2A or the ability to obtain within 18 months.

Compensation:

• Pay rate: $26.75 - $30.75 per hour, depending on licensing and qualifications The Bourne Water District offers:
