Job Description
Willow Tree Poultry Farm, Inc. seeks a hands-on Sanitation Supervisor to lead nightly sanitation operations in our Food & Beverage facility. Reporting to Sanitation Management, this role plans, directs, and verifies cleaning and sanitation of processing equipment, production areas, and support spaces to meet USDA, FDA, SQF, and company standards. Responsibilities include supervising sanitation crews, training team members, enforcing food safety, chemical handling, allergen control, and PPE use, conducting pre-op inspections, maintaining SSOPs and records, supporting audits, and driving continuous improvement in hygiene, safety, and efficiency in a family-oriented culture. Responsibilities Lead and schedule sanitation crews for production and non-production areas Ensure full compliance with USDA, FDA, SQF, and company sanitation standards Develop, implement, and update SSOPs and sanitation checklists Train staff on food safety, chemical handling, allergen control, and PPEConduct pre-op and post-op inspections; resolve deficiencies promptly Maintain sanitation, chemical usage, and inspection records for audits Coordinate with Production and QA to minimize downtime and meet schedules Monitor and optimize cleaning methods, tools, and chemical usage Enforce safety procedures and support accident and incident investigations Support third-party, customer, and regulatory audits and corrective actions Required Skills Food plant sanitation procedures CIP/COP cleaning processes
