Job Description
In this full-time AFSCME bargaining unit position, you'll help maintain and operate the City's sanitary and storm sewer collection systems, including lift stations, pumps, motors, generators, and related equipment. This position is responsible for the City's wastewater collection system only. Wastewater treatment plant operations are managed separately through the City's contract with PeopleService. You'll also operate specialized equipment, including a sewer vactor truck, and help ensure the reliable operation of the City's wastewater infrastructure. This position includes a scheduled on-call rotation and requires the ability and willingness to respond to emergency sewer system situations as needed.
