Job Description

Start Your Journey as a Plant Operator Trainee - Become a Key Player in Branson's Clean Water Mission! You'll learn essential skills to keep our community's wastewater treatment facilities running smoothly.
WORK HOURS
Shift Work; Shift May Vary to include nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary to have operations 24 hours a day/7 day a week
WORK LOCATION
In and around the City of Branson, Missouri; This position requires work to be performed onsite.
What we require:
  • A High school diploma or a GED equivalent.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position.
  • Possess or obtain a Class "D" Missouri Wastewater Treatment Certification of Competency within 18 months of start date.
  • Possess or obtain a valid Class B CDL with Air Brake endorsement within 12 months of hire date.
  • Be willing to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary to have operations 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
  • Possess no felony convictions at any time while employed by the City of Branson.
  • Be able to pass background investigation, physical capability examination, and drug and alcohol screenings.
  • One (1) year of experience in performing semi-skilled building, mechanical, construction, or grounds maintenance tasks is preferred.
