Area Supervisor (Commercial Cleaning / $20-$22 / 4pm-12am)

Job Summary King Maintenance Management is seeking an experienced and motivated Area Supervisor to join our local Family Owned growing commercial cleaning company to lead our cleaning teams during evening hours. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily cleaning operations across multiple sites, ensuring high standards of sanitation, safety, and customer satisfaction. As an Area Supervisor, you will manage staff, coordinate cleaning schedules, and uphold safety regulations to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Duties Supervise and coordinate cleaning staff and coverage during evening shifts to ensure efficient operations across assigned sites, work coverage shifts if needed. Lead & Train team members in performing industrial cleaning, custodial tasks, and sanitation procedures according to company standards Monitor adherence to safety regulations and sanitation protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all staff Provide clear managerial communication, assign tasks, and support team members in meeting daily objectives. Complete disciplinary forms as needed. Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure cleanliness, safety compliance, and quality standards are met or exceeded Address customer service inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to uphold client satisfaction, complete team member coaching forms as needed Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and timely replenishment Qualifications Proven experience in commercial cleaning, custodial work, or industrial cleaning environments Demonstrated staff supervision or team management experience with strong leadership skills Knowledge of sanitation practices, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management techniques Excellent communication skills for effective managerial oversight and customer interactions Ability to supervise janitorial teams and coordinate multiple site operations efficiently Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting 2+ years of consecutive experience in a supervisory role in the cleaning industry High school diploma or equivalent required, some college coursework or degree preferred
Work Location:
On the road (License/Certification:
Driver's License Required) The territory will be based in Springfield, with outlying cities in Missouri area travel required. Each shift will start and end at our support office in Springfield. You will report to the Operations Manager.Shift Time:
4:00pm-12:00am Day and weekend time may be required, but very infrequently. Use of a company vehicle is available - regular travel between locations is required. If your personal car is used - we pay mileage reimbursement. Pay increase at 90 day Evaluation & 1 year Performance Evaluation Must be able to pass a Drug Test & Background check.Benefits:
