Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Room Inspector to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality are maintained across our facilities. In this vital role, you will oversee the inspection of guest rooms, public areas, and staff workspaces to guarantee they meet our rigorous quality and sanitation standards. Your leadership will help foster a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both guests and staff. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to lead teams in delivering exceptional service while maintaining operational excellence. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public areas to verify cleanliness, sanitation, and safety compliance. Supervise cleaning staff and custodial teams to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to standard. Monitor adherence to safety regulations and sanitation protocols during all cleaning activities. Provide guidance and support to team members in performing industrial cleaning, janitorial tasks, and laundry services. Manage team schedules, assign duties, and oversee daily operations to optimize workflow. Communicate effectively with staff regarding performance expectations, safety procedures, and customer service standards. Document inspection results, report deficiencies or safety hazards promptly, and follow up on corrective actions. Skills Extensive experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality housekeeping management. Proven supervisory experience with team management responsibilities. Strong knowledge of sanitation standards, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management practices. Excellent managerial communication skills for effective leadership and staff supervision. Ability to oversee industrial cleaning operations including commercial cleaning environments. Skilled in managing janitorial services, laundry operations, and overall cleanliness standards. Demonstrated leadership in team supervision, management, and customer service excellence.
