Job Description
Primary Duties consist of operating equipment to fix water leaks and service taps, repair water lines, locate valves and water mains, installing new water services, changing out meters, handling of work orders, reading meters, weekend on-call duty at water plant, maintain needed repairs and installation of fire hydrants, cutting off of service, and any other necessary duties required for the county water system. You must have a valid NC Driver License, the ability to obtain a Class A CDL within 6 months of hire date and a high school diploma or equivalent. Distribution and C-Distribution certification preferred or the ability to obtain C-Distribution certification within 1 year. Starting salary based on qualified experience.
