Job Description
The City of Crawford is taking applications for a full-time Grade III water and Grade 2 wastewater operator. Duties include, but are not limited to, maintenance and operation of water and wastewater systems. Operates radio-read meters, light and heavy equipment. Occasional heavy lifting required. Minimum requirements include high school diploma, able to speak and read English fluently, capable of climbing into and out of holes over the applicant's head, wear protective gear, possess a valid Driver's license and the ability to obtain water and wastewater certifications, including ability to pass background check. Must be willing to work with and assist other departments and able to work part of rotating weekends. Wage is negotiable depending on applicant's experience.
