Dining Sanitation/Receiving Supervisor Full Time Salaried | Assisted Living Home | Medford, NJ $44,075/year - $55,099.20/year We are seeking a dedicated Dining Sanitation & Receiving Supervisor to oversee sanitation operations, inventory management, and receiving functions within our Dining Services Department. This would be a full time, salaried position. This leadership role is responsible for maintaining a safe, organized, and compliant kitchen environment while supervising the sanitation team and supporting the daily operations of our assisted living community.
Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, store, and inventory food/supplies while ensuring proper food safety and FIFO practices. Lead staff, assign work, support scheduling, and oversee attendance and performance documentation. Conduct kitchen inspections, maintain SDS documentation, and uphold safety and health standards.
Annual Flu Vaccinations Required Requirements:
HS Diploma or GED required, or in process. 2-3 years of food service experience in a lead or supervisory role, preferably in a cafeteria or retail setting, or equivalent education and experience. Must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of safe food handling practices in compliance with governing regulations.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:
Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. Walks, bends, lifts, stoops and stands the majority of the shift. Duties involve lifting, bending, stooping, or stretching in order to prepare and serve food, maintain work area, or retrieve items from storage. Work is performed primarily in the Dining Services main kitchen, loading dock, store rooms, walk-ins and freezers.
