Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Water Treatment Service Technician and play a vital role in maintaining, optimizing, and servicing critical water treatment and remediation systems across residential and commercial applications. This hands-on role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise to improve water quality, troubleshoot purfication systems, and deliver reliable service to our customers. We are willing to train the right candidate who brings a strong work ethic, technical aptitude, and eagerness to learn.
Responsibilities :
In this position, you will work directly on a wide range of systems, including but not limited to:- Water Purification & Remediation Systems (UV sterilizers, iron and manganese removal units, arsenic and radon mitigation, carbon pre/post-filters, ultrafiltration)
- Water Softeners & Conditioners (ion exchange systems, salt-based and salt-free conditioners, control valves)
- Acid Neutralizers (calcite/corosex units, pH adjustment systems)
- Reverse Osmosis (RO) Systems (under-sink residential RO, commercial RO, deionization units)
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and system optimizations on water treatment equipment and chemical feed systems.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation issues using diagnostic tools, multimeters, and system schematics.
- Manage vehicle inventory tracking, maintain proper stock of parts, and organize tools required for daily jobs.
- Clean out, and organize the service work vehicle after each shift, restocking and reloading parts and equipment to ensure readiness for upcoming projects and field assignments.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in water treatment, purification systems, or fluid handling in residential and commercial environments preferred, but willing to train the right candidate with strong mechanical aptitude.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting mechanical pumps, control valves, electrical controls, and filtration systems.
- Strong working knowledge of core water treatment technologies (Water Softeners, Reverse Osmosis, Acid Neutralizers, Iron Remediation, and UV Purification).
- Proficiency with maintenance tracking and field service management software.
- Skilled in using water test kits, flow meters, pressure gauges, and electrical diagnostic tools.
- Strong analytical, mechanical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English to clearly document technical service reports, explain issues to clients, and collaborate with team members.
