Dillsburg Area Authority is a municipal water and wastewater service provider. A water/wastewater operator or operator trainee is being sought with the requirement of obtaining licensure within three (3) years.

High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license - must meet DAA insurance requirements Have or obtain water/wastewater operator's license Related mechanical skills and experience, ex. plumbing, electrical, construction Basic math skills Basic computer skills including Office products Excel, Word & Outlook email Good written and oral communication skills Reside within of 30 minutes of DAA headquartersResponsibilities and Duties:
Support personnel in maintaining and operating water and wastewater treatment facilities and systems General buildings and grounds maintenance including but not limited to mowing, snow removal, vegetation control General plumbing work Use of hand and powered tools and equipment, including fork lift and tractors Use of computer or technology to perform tasks, record keeping, general correspondence via email Ability to work as a team or individually, as instructed Must be able to lift 50 pounds repetitively Able to work in all weather conditions Available for emergency response during and after-hours, response time ≤ 30 minutes Maintain positive image and representation with the public and vendors on behalf of DAA Participate in rotating weekend rounds Other duties as assigned For an application and detailed job description, email HR@dillsburgareaauthority.org or visit our website at www.dillsburgareaauthority.orgJob Type:
