Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Water Operator to join our dynamic team dedicated to maintaining safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant water and wastewater systems. In this vital role, you will operate, monitor, and maintain water treatment and distribution equipment, ensuring the delivery of clean water and proper wastewater management. Your expertise will help uphold regulatory standards while supporting community health and environmental sustainability. Duties:

Water Duties Check usage against daily numbers Monitor all tank levels Fill tanks as needed Daily inspections of tanks, meter and valve vaults, and chlorine analyzers Watch for vandalism Meter reads (once a month) Samples Monthly report Usage report to the office once a month Sewer Duties Read pump stations daily Observe for vandalism; note any issues with pumps, floats, or electrical Check the system for infiltration periodically Add bio block quarterly Usage report to the office once a month Experience Prior experience working in water treatment or wastewater management is highly preferred.
