What You'll Be Responsible For Leading daily operation of a wastewater treatment plant Operating and maintaining equipment such as pumps, motors, valves, filters, aerators, and chlorinators Performing sampling and chemical testing to support compliance Scheduling work and reviewing completed tasks Supervising and training an inmate work crew in a secure setting Maintaining logs, records, and inventory Supporting safe operations during routine and emergency conditions What You Need to Qualify Minimum Experience One year of experience operating and maintaining a wastewater treatment plant Required Certifications & Licenses Valid certifications from the Pennsylvania State Board for
Certification of Water and Wastewater Systems Operators:
