Job Description
The Borough of Mount Holly Springs is seeking applications for full-time plant operators at our waste water treatment plant and water facility. Applications can be obtained at the Borough Office, 200 Harman Street, Mt Holly Springs, Pa. 17065. Hours are 7am. To 3:30pm. Monday - Friday. Applications or resumes should be received by September 4, 2026. The Borough is seeking applicants with a Class C-E Operators License or greater in waste water operations. The certifications under Class C-E include a Wastewater System Operator License with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and include 2 subclasses. Subclass 1, activated sludge and Subclass 4, collections. The certifications under Class B for water systems operator license with the Pennsylvania DEP and includes 2 subclasses. Subclass 7-Corrosion Control and sequestering, and Subclass 11-gaseous chemical disinfection. Successful applicants will also be required to have a valid driver's license, a high school diploma/GED or greater education, and be able to pass a background check. Successful applicants will have a go-getting attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate well with Borough residents and other employees. The salary for the positions is negotiable and based on experience and qualifications.
