I. Job Summary Supervises employees and operations of wastewater treatment plant. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manages personnel and daily operations of plant to maintain optimum disposal flow. Organizes and schedules all necessary resources required to accomplish activities. Reviews and evaluates work to ensure quality, timeliness and ensures quality control in adherence to policies and procedures. Fulfills purchasing function, including purchasing supplies, maintaining purchase order log, and reviewing P-card transactions, for the treatment plant. Assembles and analyzes data. Tests and monitors results and creates appropriate reports. Serves as a liaison between plant and vendors, contractors, management, security, and others. Executes necessary precautions to ensure safety and compliance with Company, OSHA, and other standards and regulations. Oversees personnel needs of the department including coaching, training, and evaluating employee performance. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions. III. Qualifications A. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or G.E.D No experience or equivalent experience, and B. Preferred Qualifications Associate's Degree or equivalent experience, No experience or equivalent experience, State Wastewater Operator Certificate (Class D-1 or higher). IV.
