•This role is part-time, remote, must reside or be willing to relocate to Somerset, PA area.

•Your Responsibilities as a Water / Wastewater Operator (Treatment Plant & Field Services): Travelto clientsitesto perform operational evaluations of water and wastewater treatmentfacilities(WTP/WWTP), lift stations, and related infrastructure

Monitorand evaluate treatment system performance, including pumps, motors, meters, gauges, and process control systems

Collect, test, and analyze water and wastewater samples; interpret results to assess treatment performance and compliance

Reviewandoptimizetreatment processes, including chemical feed systems and dosing, to improve efficiency and reliability

Performpreventive maintenance and corrective repairs on treatment systems, distribution systems, and equipment

Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical components, including pumps, blowers, valves, and control systems

Monitorsystem conditions,identifyoperational issues, and respond to alarms, equipment failures, and emergency conditions

Clean,maintain, and service tanks, wet wells, booster stations, and other facilities

Recordandmaintain accurateoperational data, maintenance logs, and inspection reports using computerized and manual systems

Prepareclear written reports and communicate findings, recommendations, and corrective actions to supervisors and project managers

Assistwith system startups, process adjustments, inspections, and routine operations

Coordinatematerials, spare parts, and equipment needed for maintenance and operational activities

Operatecompany vehicles and equipment safelyin accordance withcompany policies

Ensurecompliance with all applicable environmental regulations, permits, and safety requirements (EPA, OSHA, and state standards)

Followall health and safety procedures, including proper use of PPE

Collaboratewith team members and clients toidentifyoperational improvements and implement best practices

Perform additionalduties as assigned What we're looking for: Priorexperience in water or wastewater treatment plant operations, system maintenance, or related environmental services preferred

PennsylvaniaWater/Wastewater Operator License (or ability to obtain within one year)

Workingknowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, including chemical feed systems, sampling, and process control

Experienceperforming preventive maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment, including pumps, motors, blowers, valves, and control systems

Strongunderstanding of plant operations, distribution systems, and lift stations

Abilitytomonitorsystem performance, interpret data, andidentifyoperational issues in real time

Proficiencyin collecting and analyzing water and wastewater samples andmaintaining accuraterecords and reports

Familiaritywith regulatory compliance requirements, including EPA, OSHA, and state environmental standards

Experienceusing computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), SCADA systems, or similar operational software preferred

Strongmechanical aptitude with the ability to perform general repairs and maintenance activities

Abilityto work independently in the field and collaboratively with team members and clients

Strongproblem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot under pressure

Effectivecommunication skills, including the ability to prepare clear written reports

Validdriver's license and clean driving record

Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, climbing, and working in outdoor environments in varying weather conditions

Reside near Somerset, PA or willing to relocate to Somerset, PA area
