Job Description
The Isle of Palms Water and Sewer Commission has an immediate opening for a Systems Operator position. The successful candidate will work in the field involving R.O. Treatment, Transmission/Distribution, Sewer Collection, and Sewer Treatment. Strong background in water distribution installation and repair is a plus. Troubleshoots residential and commercial water meter problems; safely performs proper excavation procedures using mini trackhoe and backhoe. Must possess or have the ability to obtain "D" level operator certification within one year of employment. A high school diploma and SC driver's license are required. Starting salary is $52,000 to $80,000 per year. The Commission offers a competitive SC State Benefits package.
