What You'll Do:
Operate and monitor wastewater treatment systems and related equipment Apply knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, biology, chemistry, and mechanical systems Perform inspections of treatment facilities and equipment Monitor system performance and make adjustments as needed Conduct operational testing and maintain accurate records and reports Follow state and federal wastewater regulations and safety procedures Perform preventative maintenance activities and assist with asset management programs Maintain equipment inventories, condition assessments, and operational documentation Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions Communicate professionally with customers, team members, departments, and regulatory officials Support emergency response efforts and participate in on-call rotation as required
