Job Summary Join our Water Department team as a Water Department Worker and play a vital role in maintaining and operating essential water and wastewater systems. Duties Operate and monitor water treatment equipment, including pumps, valves, and control systems Conduct routine inspections of wastewater treatment plants and water systems to ensure proper functioning and compliance with environmental regulations. Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on industrial pumps, water treatment machinery, and wastewater systems to ensure optimal performance. Check Water Meters Assist with heavy equipment operation for tasks such as lifting heavy components or materials during maintenance activities. Follow safety regulations diligently by using personal protective equipment (PPE) during all work activities and adhering to safety protocols. Support environmental compliance efforts by inspecting facilities, documenting conditions, and implementing best practices for wastewater treatment and water distribution.
