Sanitation Supervisor

Compeer Contract Cleaning Services is looking for a Sanitation Supervisor to help support our growth efforts. Compeer is a growing company and this is an opportunity to be a part of the growth. The Sanitation Supervisor will be responsible for the activities of sanitation technicians on various shifts including evenings, nights and weekends. The Sanitation Supervisor will primarily work their assigned shift during the weeek with weekends being a longer shift. The work schedule is flexible as the Supervisor will be responsible for the overall performance of the team and will have oversight of team members from multiple shifts as some projects require team members to work together. The normal schedule for this position is 5 days per week with days off being assigned by the Account Manager. The basic duties of the Sanitation Supervisor include, but are not limited to:

WEEKEND WORK IS REQUIRED IN THIS POSITION.

Managing team members activities on all shifts during the janitorial cleaning shifts. Scheduling for multiple work shifts and hours is required to ensure coverage at all times. This facility has a 24/5 or 24/6 production operation. Managing deep cleaning activities as scheduled on wet or dry cleaning events. Be mindful of production schedules to assist the Account Manager in planning cleaning events. Be able to manage multiple tasks at once. Be hands-on and work with the team. This is not an office position. Have great attention to detail. Inspection after cleaning tasks are completed is required. Cleaning and supervising experience Time and task management skills Janitorial, laundry, and custodial experience is preferred Commercial cleaning expertise in a food processing facility is preferable Leadership qualities are needed in this role Be a problem solver, ready and willing to think outside the box. Be a Team player who can follow as well as provide instruction to others. Complete nightly and weekly reports as required. Many reports are required for audit purposes. Be bi-lingual (Spanish) or able to communicate with multi-lingual personnel.
