Job Description/Responsibilities:
The Sanitation Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and compliance of our production environment. This position leads all sanitation activities across the facility, including equipment, building, and process cleaning, while driving continuous improvement in sanitation practices. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on product quality, food safety, and operational excellence in a fast-paced beverage manufacturing environment. What You'll Do Lead and oversee all plant sanitation activities, including cleaning of equipment, machinery, and facility areas Develop, implement, and maintain sanitation procedures, tracking systems, and validation processes Train and coach team members on sanitation standards, safety protocols, and proper cleaning techniques Monitor GMPs, housekeeping, and sanitation compliance across the facility Manage sanitation supplies and chemicals, while coordinating sanitation efforts with cross-functional teams
Qualifications/Requirements:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related scientific field 3+ years of sanitation experience within a food or beverage manufacturing environment Strong communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment
Preferred:
Food safety certification or experience with global food safety standards (HACCP, ISO, etc.) Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies Experience in alcohol beverage or broader CPG manufacturing environments Physical Requirements Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds without assistance Ability to work an 8-hour shift and overtime as needed Ability to stand, move throughout the facility, and maintain attention to detail in a production environment
